Above is Corsham House, the home of Bath Academy of Art
(1946-86) where Gill Clarke and I met in 1963.

John Cruse's engraving (circa 1830) is based on a study
by John Preston Neal.
In a Portsmouth antique shop in 1969, I found this etching along with a second one representing the north side of the house.

Corsham is the heart and soul of who I am professionally and, because it introduced me to Gillian Clarke, it is also responsible for who I have become personally.

but I digress, what would you like to talk about?
